Looking for a unique farm to visit? Lavender Farms has everything from Lavender, herbs, and irises to other seasonal crops. Picking Lavender is available seasonally. Around the end of May the Lavender starts blooming, it continues blooming throughout early July and sometimes mid-July. Visiting Lavender farms is a great way to have you and your family experience fun family adventure while still learning more about agriculture and farming.

Lavender farms originally started out as a strawberry and melon farm in the 1920s and 1930s. In 2006 the farm opened up as a lavender, cut-flower, and herb farm. This family ran farm has been in the family for over 150 years and will be a home for them for many more years to come.

The farm currently has 2 acres of lavender planted. New herbs, scented geraniums, and cut flowers are added to the farm all the time. A variety of herbs, perennials, annuals, native plants, handmade herbal soaps, and lavender products are also sold near the farm in a gift shop. Be sure to look for the hummingbirds as they drink from the feeders surrounding the cafe'.

So if you are looking for a sunny, fresh air experience, come pick some fresh lavender and learn all about the lavender experience. You will also get to learn about how they grow so many plants and keep up with them all at once! Don't miss out on your trip to Lavender farms!
