Welcome to RV Texoma, a quiet, secluded wildlife management RV park resort, located in North Texas near the Oklahoma border. RV Texoma sits on 33 acres of natural beauty: 100-year old shade trees, natural foliage, and a fully stocked fish pond. Our off-the-beaten-path location allows you to enjoy quiet, relaxing days and brilliant starry nights, free of the noise and light pollution common to less sheltered areas.

At the same time, we're just minutes from a number of northeast Texas and southeast Oklahoma's most popular attractions, including Hagerman Wildlife Refuge, Lake Texoma, and Megastar Casino. And were a short drive to Denison, Denton, and McKinney, Texas.

Feel free to contact us for more information on our unique wildlife management RV park resort. And, don't forget to check out our Photos and Videos page for a more detailed look at the property.
About Us

Our Property

RX Texoma is a family-friendly and pet-friendly park that consists of eight unique RV sites. Each site has full hookups, including water and sewer. Each site also has 50amp, 30amp, and 20amp electrical service. With one exception, each site has a 70x15 flex base, with plenty of additional space for parking. Most sites have shade trees, fire pits, and plenty of room for additional parking.

At RV Texoma, your security and safety are our primary concerns. We are a gated community, featuring a key-code gate and unobtrusive security cameras. In general, entrance to the property is only available to confirmed/paid guests.

All our guests are carefully screened, and we have several long-term residents, who really make our property a neighborhood. Regular visits from local deer, rabbits, and various birds add to that atmosphere.

Hunting, Fishing, and Photography

Hagerman Wildlife Refuge

Located along the Big Mineral Arm of Lake Texoma, Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge is safe haven for numerous species of migratory birds and other wildlife. The Refuge consists of water, marshy areas, and upland habitat. Canadian geese are especially prevalent, as are, to a lesser extent, snow geese and Ross's geese.

Recreational opportunities at Hagerman Wildlife Refuge include hunting, fishing, and wildlife photography. Depending on the season, you can hunt white-tailed deer, feral hog, turkey, and a variety of small game. (Note that deer hunting is only open to bowhunters.) Fishing can be by boat or along banks. Catfish, sand bass, and crappie fishing are all popular at the lake. Wildlife photography is extremely popular at the refuge. As is the case with most wildlife (and landscape) photography, early morning and late evening are the best times for capturing images. The Refuge has two ADA accessible blinds for those who need them.

Fishing, Hiking, and Boating

Lake Texoma

Lake Texoma is a phenomenal location for fishing, hiking, and recreational boating.

Fishing is especially popular at the lake. Fish found in Lake Texoma include catfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, crappie, and bluegill. Note that you can purchase a fishing license that covers the entire lake, regardless of whether you are on the Texas side or the Oklahoma side. For hiking, a number of excellent trails originate in Eisenhower State Park, located in Denison, Texas. The trails are graded by distance and difficulty, so it's easy to pick trails that match your skill level. Boating access can be found at Eisenhower State Park, five public parks, and several private marinas. Remember that boating regulations vary greatly, depending on what part of the lake you are in and the time of year.

Reviews

My wife and I made a life decision to go full time a while back, being totally new to this with a brand new RV, Michael and Suzee have been the greatest help in the transition. We couldn't be happier in our decision to come to RV Texoma by recommendation of fellow neighbor William Skipper (also our salesman at Fun Town). This place is great; quite, secure, dark, and best of all the owners and neighbors! Mike does a great job of screening folks to make sure we all feel safe and secure. Looking forward to our future here, thanks.

We took our motorhome on its maiden voyage to RV Texoma and it did not disappoint. Secluded area surrounded by beautiful farmsteads you might see featured in Country Living magazine. The park manager brought us fresh eggs from his chickens and firewood without us asking for anything. This is a gated area that offers privacy and home to respectful people who are good stewards of the land. A+
